Members

Invite teammates and manage who engineers take requests from.

• ✉ Invite by email (email and role Member or Admin; Send invitation). Pending invitations can be revoked.
• + Add member: a Slack-only contact (name, email, Slack user ID, role).
• The members list with role, email and Slack ID, plus Add Slack ID / Change Slack ID and Remove (managers).
• Paused access: members paused after three clearly abusive requests in a day (harmful work, attacks, harassment, or explicit attempts to override an engineer's instructions). Owners and admins are never paused. Only the owner can Restore access.
• A warning if Slack can't read email addresses yet. Until you reconnect Slack and approve the permission, engineers answer anyone in your Slack. Members with a Slack ID are recognised either way.

Engineers only take requests from people on this list. In Slack they recognise members by email automatically, or by the Slack ID set here (Slack → profile → More → Copy member ID; IDs start with U).
