Credits and billing

What each plan includes. Every plan has chat (portal and Slack), workflow deliveries on the built-in workflows, every integration, and files.

  • Growth adds scheduled digests, custom workflows (building or changing them), choosing engineers and people for workflow steps, and Insights.
  • Team adds engineers joining meetings, and more work at once per engineer (Starter 2, Growth 3, Team 6).
  • Enterprise adds custom roles.

Moving to a smaller plan pauses what it doesn't include: digests stop, custom workflows can't start new deliveries, step owners and named engineers are ignored. They come back on upgrading.

  • What uses credits: engineers' work (chat replies, delivery steps, code reviews, everything an engineer does in a session) is charged by usage; meetings are charged as flat amounts; pre-hire interviews cost a small fixed amount. Human steps and waiting time cost nothing.
  • Plans: monthly, paid in naira through Paystack by card. Each plan includes monthly credits and an engineer limit ("Up to N engineers" or unlimited). Unused plan credits roll over. Prices and plans are shown on Billing.
  • No plan: engineers can't start work (interviews still work). Billing shows "Waiting for a plan".
  • Trial: once per workspace, a free trial of any plan for a set number of days with a set number of credits. A small charge saves your card and is refunded straight away. The first payment is taken when the trial ends. Cancel before then if you don't want to continue.
  • Plan status: Free trial, Active (renews on a date), Cancelled (stays on until the next payment date, then ends; remaining credit is kept), Payment failed (update your card with Update card or cancel).
  • Changing plan takes effect on the next payment date.
  • Top-ups: one-off credit bundles in naira. Credits land within seconds of payment and never expire. You can top up even when the balance is at zero.
  • Adjustments: YourEngineers can correct a balance by hand (for example a refund, goodwill, or a billing mistake). Each one, with its reason, appears in the workspace's audit log and data export.
  • Low-credit warnings: the Billing page and the sidebar credit chip turn to a warning when the balance is below the warning level. The workspace's alert email (set on Monitoring) gets one email when the balance crosses into low, one when work pauses, and a "you're back" note after a top-up.
  • At zero: new work stops, and turns in progress may finish on a small overdraft. Deliveries wait and resume by themselves after a top-up.
  • Who can see billing: owners and admins (Billing page, sidebar balance, spend and value on Insights). Members see delivery figures but no money, and are told to ask an admin.
  • Where credits went: Billing → This month, by engineer, and Insights → By engineer.
