Hire

Titled "Hire an engineer": the role catalog. Each card shows the role's description, model, tool count and how many you've hired.

• Meet {role} opens a short interview chat to get to know the role before hiring. It costs a small number of credits (charged on your first message), is time- and turn-limited, and you can have one interview open at a time (Resume interview →).
• Hire this engineer / Hire another (owners and admins): Name (how they appear in Slack, PRs and the roster), Avatar, Persona, Working conventions, Model (Default uses the role's model) and Meeting voice, then Hire {role}.
• Enterprise workspaces: + Create custom role (role key, display name, model, description, system prompt).

Gotchas: hiring needs a plan or trial, and the plan's engineer limit applies ("Your plan allows N engineers… Move up a plan on the Billing page, or retire an engineer first").
