Hire an engineer

  1. Make sure the workspace has a plan or trial (Billing).
  2. Go to Hire. Optionally Meet {role} first to interview the role.
  3. Click Hire this engineer (owners and admins).
  4. Give a name. Optionally add a persona, working conventions ("We use Conventional Commits and open PRs against main"), a model and a meeting voice.
  5. Click Hire {role}. They're on your team: mention them in Slack or open a chat.
  6. Connect a code host (GitHub, GitLab or Bitbucket) if you haven't, so they can work on code.
